RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

1.The college has already established the Materials Science Research Lab to promote the research at college level

2.The college is planning to establishthe Central Instrument Facility, Central Instrumentation Centre , Animal House/Green House / Museum, Central Fabrication facility, Media laboratory/Business Lab/Studios, Research/Statistical Databases at College Level.

3.The Department of Physics faculty members namely Dr.B.Sudhakar Reddy has got 01 Major Research Project worth of Rs.5.32 Lakh and 01 Minor Research Project worth of Rs.1.30 Lakh which are funded by CSIR, New Delhi and UGC-SERO, Hyderabad. Dr.M.V.Ramanaiah has got 01 Minor Research Project worth of Rs.1.50 Lakh which is funded by UGC-SERO, Hyderabad. The above research projects are completed successfuly. Due to this research grant the faculty members are published research papers in highly reputed national and international journals. The college has advised/suggested the faculty members to submit the proposals for the awards of international fellowship for advanced studies/ research. 

4.The college faculty members are published 28 research papers in highly reputed national and international journals, 02 patents achieved and also 12 research papers presented in national and international conferences during the period 2018-20

5.Dr.B.Sudhakar Reddy, Professor of Physics has guided 06 Ph.D.Scholars and  is guiding 03 Ph.D.Scholars. The college has suggested the all eligible faculty members to submit the proposals to the affiliating University to recognize the various departments as research centres and all the eligible faculty members should submit the applications for the Research Guideship to carryout research and to guide the M.Phil., Ph.D. Research Scholars. Due this more number of Ph.D./ M.Phil., Degrees will be produced by the faculty members.

6.The college has already to organizedthe workshops/seminars conducted on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Industry-Academia Innovative practices.If the funds are generated from various funding agencies, the college is planning to provide plagiarism software to the faculty members for maintenance of Code of Ethics at college level.

7.The college has suggested the all eligible faculty members to submit the research findings to get patents. 

8.The college has suggested the all eligible faculty to develop the consultancy services between the institution and the individual. Accordingly revenue will be generated from consultancy services.

9.The college Physics faculty member Dr.B.Sudhakar Reddy has established the collaboration activities for research between the college and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea, Pukyong National University, South Korea, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, C-MET, Hyderabad, Jawaharlal Technological University, Anathapuram and S.V.University, Tirupati.

10.Dr.B.Sudhakar Reddy, Materials Science Research Lab under the umbrella of Department of Physics has sharing the research facilities with RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur and S.V.University, Tirupati.

11. The college has already established the MoUs with institutions and industries.

                 By adopting the above points, the college will be strengthening in the Research, Extension and Innovations category at college level. Accordingly students, faculty members and stakeholders should be benefitted.
