PHYSICAL SCIENCES - COMPUTERS SCIENCE - Vision & Mission

History :

     The department of Computer Science was established in the year 1999 with the aim of providing computer education for women students of socially backward and economically weaker of the society. An Under Graduate level Programme BSc with combination of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science was started in the year 1999. Subsequently, in the year 2008, new programmes, BSc with Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science combination for BSc, BCom (Computer Applications) for B.Com and for BA BA(HECA) and (HUCA) were started. And in the year 2015 a group with BSc with Mathematics, Electronics and Computer Science combination was introduced.

Vision:

     To imbibe the qualities of application oriented programming skills, research attitude into students with an aim of coping up with tremendous changes in technology in the area of Computer Science by furnishing quality education.

Mission:

     To develop computer professionals with strong fundamental concepts, programming and problem-solving skills with an exposure to current and day-to-day evolving technologies. To implant the knowledge in students that are necessary for sustainable development, entrepreneurship, self-employment, job -oriented and to progress in higher education as well as to serve society.
