Department of Mathematics Dr P. Gurivi Reddy, Incharge, Dr B. Swaroopa, Kum K. Shalini, Smt S. Sunitha, faculty organised a Virtual National webinar on “ Matrix Factorizations in Science and Engineering Applications” on 18.02.2022. For this webinar two eminent resource persons are invited namely Dr Pentyala Srinivasa Rao, Associate Professor, IIT Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India and Prof M.C Raju, Department of Mathematics, JNTU(A), Pulivendula. 138 Mathematics faculty and students registered for this webinar and 82 members participated from various reputed Institutions from India.
Dr. P. Subba Lakshumma, Principal, SKR & SKR Govt. College for Women (A), Kadapa has inaugurated the meeting and explained in detail about the importance of conducting the webinar.
Petyla srivinivasarao, Associate Professor, IIT Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India has explained about the Introduction to Algebriac Systems, Need for Matrix factorizations, Various factorization techniques, solving system of simultaneous algebraic equations for n unknowns, Gauss Elimination method, Gauss Jordan method, Singular value decomposition, Eigen vectors and Eigen values.
Prof M.C Raju, Department of Mathematics, JNTU (A), Pulivendula has explained about the Research methodology, Scopus publications, UGC care publications, Citations, h-index, Google scholar, ORCID.
Dr P. Gurivi Reddy, Convenor and Kum K. Shalini, Co-Convenor explained in detail about the aims and objectives of the webinar. All the faculty of Department of Mathematics and students participated in this webinar.
