ECONOMICS - National Webinar on “Climate change and its impact on Agriculture†28.06.2024
The Department of Economics organized a National Webinar on Hybrid mode (online and offline) on the topic of “Climate change and its impact on Agriculture” in our college on 28.06.2024. Climate change poses a significant threat to agriculture, impacting crop yields, water availability, and overall food security. The Department of Economics recognizes the urgent need to address this issue as changes in temperature and precipitation patterns can lead to crop failures, reduced productivity, and increased vulnerability to pests and diseases. By studying the economic implications of climate change on agriculture, our aim to develop strategies and policies that can help farmers adapt to these challenges and ensure the sustainability of food production in the face of a changing climate.
